Collection: The Catasetum Alliance

Shop Catasetum orchids for sale alongside Cycnoches, Mormodes, and Clowesia — the deciduous powerhouses of the orchid world. This subtribe also includes intergeneric hybrids such as Cycnodes, Clowesetum, Catamodes, Catasandra, and Monnierara. All share a dramatic yearly rhythm: explosive growth through summer, bold blooms from late summer into fall, and a full winter dormancy when the plants drop their leaves and rest until spring. Many carry strong fragrances, from spicy to sweet to citrus, that can fill a greenhouse from a single spike.
