Orchid Doc- In Person Consultation Services

Book an In- Person Consultation visit directly with Serena AKA Lady Vanda. Serena will personally visit your location and conduct a property walkthrough alongside you. Serena will make recommendations on orchid placement, provide diagnostic information as well care protocols. Serena may also take photos of some of the problem areas such as evidence of pest or diseases. These photos will be sent back to you in an email that provides a recap of the observations and recommendations made for treatment. Serena is a license Pesticide Applicator and as such will make recommendations on products taking into consideration other plants in the area, waterways that may abut the property and pets or children that frequent the area. Please note, our primary service Area is Marion County, Fl. If you are outside of this area our standard rate below will apply as well as mileage and travel expenses. For our South Florida customers, we will do our best to accommodate your visit around other trips to share the burden of mileage and travel expenses amongst multiple customers. Booking of an In- Person consultation is subject to availability as we run our Nursery and Landscape Division alongside these services. If you would like us to apply any pesticides and fertilizers for you we can also complete this service. You can call us with any questions prior to booking this service. 

If you have a multi acre property or you would like diagnostic information on other plants, trees, or shrubs we recommend the 4-5 hour Visit. 

Serena has been referred to as the Orchid Doc, The Vanda Whisperer and many other  nicknames by her clients and friends. She has spent years improving her orchid culture through Lady Vanda Orchids and helping others with their challenges. She is a noted Speaker that has worked with most of the Orchid Societies in Florida to provide top notch presentations on a number of topics. Her latest venture is partnering with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens where she has introduced her Demo Workshop series. Serena dedicates her time to reading the latest information and scientific publication available to the Orchid Industry. She constantly seeks out new products, new protocols and works closely with a number of county extension offices for the latest news on pests and diseases that can wreak havoc on any orchid collection.
