Product Details
Renantanda Five Little Monkeys is the registered name for Renanthera philippinensis × Rhynchostylis (now Vanda) coelestis, recorded by Abuflora in 2025. This compact primary hybrid throws densely packed spikes of bright scarlet-red flowers, pairing Renanthera fire with the tidy, upright habit of coelestis.
Renanthera philippinensis is a lowland Philippine species, while coelestis grows in the hot, seasonally dry forests of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, so this cross wants heat (65–95°F), strong light with some direct sun and a slightly drier rest in winter. Grow bare-root in a basket or on a mount.
Blooming size — photos are representative of the plant size and maturity available. A rarely offered primary hybrid for Vanda-alliance collectors
