Shipping Info

Free shipping on orders of $99+ within the US, including pre-orders. Orders under $99 are calculated at checkout based on size, quantity and destination.

When will it ship?
Live plants ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only, so they never sit in a carrier facility over the weekend. Supplies and pottery ship within 5–7 days; if they’re in the same order as a plant, everything ships together on Monday or Tuesday.

Cold-weather shipping
We only ship live plants when temperatures are 40°F or above. Below 50°F we include a free 72-hour heat pack and ship to arrive within 1–3 days; addresses that need more than 3 days in transit require an expedited upgrade. In the coldest months plant shipments may pause until it warms up.

Product Details

Vuylstekeara Carnivale 'Rio' crosses Odontoglossum Wally Curry with Miltonia Guanabara, blending the patterned flowers of the odontoglossum line with the open, flat face of Brazilian Miltonia. The 'Rio' clone opens a vivid bubblegum pink marked in purple and red, and mature plants can carry several arching spikes at once.

The Miltonia side comes from Brazil's warm Atlantic Forest, and the odontoglossum side traces back to cool Andean cloud forest. The result is an easygoing intermediate grower. Give medium, filtered light, 55–85°F, a fine bark mix kept evenly moist, and steady air movement. Don't let it dry out completely.

Blooming size — photos are representative of the plant size and maturity available. An easy, cheerful Oncidium-alliance hybrid for windowsill growers.
