Plant Care Tips
Sunlight
Tolerates low sunlight or fluorescent light, but will thrive in medium, indirect light. Direct, bright sunlight should be avoided.
Maintenance
Water when top two inches of soil are dry. Water thoroughly.
Temperature
Does well at room temperature between 60°F - 77°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.
Humidity
Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above.

Free shipping on orders of $99+ within the US, including pre-orders. Orders under $99 are calculated at checkout based on size, quantity and destination.
When will it ship?
Live plants ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only, so they never sit in a carrier facility over the weekend. Supplies and pottery ship within 5–7 days; if they’re in the same order as a plant, everything ships together on Monday or Tuesday.
Cold-weather shipping
We only ship live plants when temperatures are 40°F or above. Below 50°F we include a free 72-hour heat pack and ship to arrive within 1–3 days; addresses that need more than 3 days in transit require an expedited upgrade. In the coldest months plant shipments may pause until it warms up.

Product Details
Best suited for epiphytic orchids that thrive in bareroot conditions or require periods of drying between waterings. These mounting cones offer flexibility—use them empty for maximum air circulation or fill with your preferred potting medium for enhanced moisture retention. Particularly effective for Cattleyas and Vandas, which establish readily on the clay surface. The included reference images demonstrate proper mounting techniques for bareroot specimens. Roots naturally develop across the clay and through drainage perforations, creating a secure, naturalistic growing environment. Plants are not included with purchase.
