Vanda Brighton Sunset (Vanda Fuchs Sunset × Vanda Doctor Anek) was registered by Brighton Orchids in 2007 and lives up to its name: round, full flowers in burnt orange and brick red, finely speckled over a warm golden base with a bright yellow throat.

Both parents descend from bold-colored, warm-growing Vanda lines rooted in Southeast Asian species, so this hybrid loves heat, humidity and light. Give it bright light with direct morning sun, 65–95°F and daily watering in summer, grown bare-root in a wooden basket. Strong air movement keeps it vigorous.
