    This fragrant Vanda cross pairs the Asian species Vanda tessellata with Vanda Kulwadee Fragrance (Gordon Dillon × Guo Chia Long), a Thai hybrid registered by Sujit Sutthawas in 2004 and grown worldwide. Expect compact spikes of long-lasting flowers in soft lavender, white and dusky rose, often netted with tessellated veining. As a seedling cross, each plant brings its own color variation.

    Vanda tessellata ranges across the seasonally dry lowlands of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Myanmar, contributing heat tolerance and a vigorous, easygoing habit. Bright light, 60–95°F and daily summer watering in a basket keep it blooming.
