Product Details
A large green fragrant hybrid that produces flowers unto 4" across. Cycnoches have a specialized pollination mechanism where they shoot their pollinia (pollen caps) onto pollinators. Brushing up against this plant while in bloom can excite this mechanism! Potted in 2.5" nursery pots and moss and should flower this upcoming growing season. Our plants are dormant in the winter months but some are showing new growth swelling at the base. When dormant, plants in genus Catasetinae are leafless and roots have mostly died back. We reduce or completely stop watering in the winter. Read more about their care here. Orchids in this genera look quite small when leafless but produce an abundant canopy in the warmer months.
