Product Details

Paphiopedilum villosum var. annamense 'Chaks Warrior' AM/AOS × self — as seen on Blanca's Orchid Garden — is the Paph that blooms for three months or more. Seedlings from this award-winning clone produce large, glossy flowers in honey, amber and mahogany with a varnished sheen; some blooms have lasted 3–4 months, among the longest-lasting slippers we grow.

Paph. villosum grows on mossy trees and rocks in the mountains of Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar, so it prefers intermediate to warm temperatures (58–85°F), moderate light and evenly moist bark. Grown from lab-raised stock by our licensed partner nursery in Hawaii and finished in our Florida greenhouse, so it arrives acclimated to warm climates.

Blooming size — photos are representative of the plant size and maturity available. Plants have multiple growths and some may be in spike; you may not receive the exact plant pictured.
