Pair it with a clay pot
Smooth-wall bowls hold moisture a little longer, a good match for this plant; side-hole pots dry faster. Adds to your cart, no page change.
Plant Care Tips
Sunglight Low to moderate, filtered light (800–1,500 fc). No direct sunlight; similar to Phalaenopsis light levels.Although multiflorals can take brighter light.
Temperature Intermediate: 55–80°F (13–27°C). Mottled-leaf types prefer warmer; solid green-leaf types tolerate cooler temps.
Water Keep medium slightly moist but never waterlogged. No pseudobulbs means less drought tolerance. Never let water sit in the crown.
Nutrition Fertilize 1/4 strength weekly, flush pots with clear water monthly.
Shipping Info
Free shipping on orders of $99+ within the US, including pre-orders. Orders under $99 are calculated at checkout based on size, quantity and destination.
When will it ship?
Live plants ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only, so they never sit in a carrier facility over the weekend. Supplies and pottery ship within 5–7 days; if they’re in the same order as a plant, everything ships together on Monday or Tuesday.
Cold-weather shipping
We only ship live plants when temperatures are 40°F or above. Below 50°F we include a free 72-hour heat pack and ship to arrive within 1–3 days; addresses that need more than 3 days in transit require an expedited upgrade. In the coldest months plant shipments may pause until it warms up.

Product Details
Paphiopedilum QF Charles Halo (Paph. charlesworthii × Paph. QF Hawaiian Halo), registered by Quintal Farms in 2024, blends the broad, rosy dorsal of the species charlesworthii with the yellow-toned, round form of QF Hawaiian Halo for a compact, free-blooming hybrid.
Paph. charlesworthii grows on limestone in Myanmar, northeast India and Yunnan, so this cross prefers intermediate temperatures (55–82°F), moderate light and evenly moist bark with a calcium supplement. Hybridized by our licensed partner nursery in Hawaii and finished in our Florida greenhouse, so it arrives acclimated to warm climates.
Blooming size — photos are representative of the plant size and maturity available. Choose a 2" or 4" pot size.
