      Plant Care Tips

      SUNLIGHT Moderate, filtered light (1,500–2,500 fc). Slightly brighter than Paphiopedilum but still no direct midday sun.

      TEMPERATURE Intermediate: 55–80°F (13–27°C). Tolerates a range but prefers consistent conditions without extreme heat.

      WATER. Keep consistently moist—these are among the few orchids that appreciate "wet feet." Use a shallow water tray to catch runoff and prevent drying.

      NUTRITION. Fertilize 1/4 strength weekly, Flush regularly to prevent salt buildup. Use our 15-5-15 Cal-Mag fertilizer for best results.

      Product Details

      Pending photos of first blooms, but we are excited for the coloration and spread on this cross. Phrag. Rocquier produces moderate size blooms with stunning sunset red-orange colored blooms. The other parent, QF Kahului produces Rosey pink colored blooms. Both parents have Eric Young and a number of of other beautifully colored hybrids. We expect very bright colors. Mature, blooming size plants, some starting to spike. In 5" Pots.

      We recommend using our crushed oyster shells and Cal-Mag fertilizer.
