Cork Bark- Flats 4”x 7.5”

Cork bark is an excellent material for mounting most orchids, it’s also considered a highly sustainable material as the bark grows out again on harvested trees. The flats presented here are very uniform in size and about 1cm thick. They’re lightweight, retain some moisture without staying soggy and have a nice rough surface roots can adhere to easily. They are available in several pack sizes: single piece, three piece and 5 piece sets. We can add an eye hook for $0.50 a piece, just make sure to add enough of them to the cart if you want all pieces to come with an eye hook already attached. 

*The photo at the end with a plant is a sample of what a miniature to compact plant will look like once mounted on cork. Rodridenia Woon Leng’s Red Gem is an excellent candidate for mounting.
